Jack Winchester
I design and build interfaces.
The way interfaces get built is changing. The gap between designing a product and building it is disappearing, and I've stepped into that gap. Whether that's shipping a working product in days or taking the time to craft something more refined. I'm designing and building from start to finish.
10 years designing products inside startup teams.
I'm Jack. A product designer based in the North East of England.
I love building things. Seeing something take shape, making the small decisions that make it feel right, and ending up with something you're proud of. That's what drew me to design, and it's what keeps me in it.
I found my way into this industry through an early internship that showed me how products actually get built.
Since then I've spent most of my career inside startup teams — B2B, consumer, fintech — the kind of small groups where you can't hide behind a job title. You just figure it out and ship. That's where I do my best work.
BUNK
Property compliance for landlords. AI-first, the dashboard shows state, the chat drives action.
As Senior Product Designer, I was brought in to rethink the product direction. Working alongside a growth expert, we stripped back features that weren't serving the core need and reshaped the product around an AI assistant that guides landlords through compliance, rent tracking, and financial decisions. I designed the full experience, from onboarding through to complex multi-step flows like remortgaging, and built high-fidelity prototypes and animations that secured the next round of investor backing.
ROQQETT
Open banking payments. From peer-to-peer transfers to one-tap checkout.
As Head of Design, I joined early and led design through a full pivot. We started as a peer-to-peer payments app and quickly evolved into something bigger. We introduced spending insights to give people a reason to open the app between payments, then designed a one-tap checkout flow that became the core product.
SYKY
A marketplace for digital fashion. Connecting designers and collectors around NFT-based clothing.
As Senior Product Designer, I led the design of the marketplace experience end to end. The main challenge was onboarding. Half the users were crypto-native, half had never connected a wallet. I explored every format we could think of before landing on a wallet-forward flow with OAuth as a simple fallback. Beyond that, I owned filtering, discovery, and how the primary and secondary markets were presented across desktop and mobile.
